Circuit Layout
  The Circuit Layout screen is an intuitive, graphic representation of the developing panel board permitting dynamic circuit layouts with a “drag” & “drop” placement of OCPD devices.


Although the placement of the OCPD devices and resulting circuit number is very simple, the computing power is anything but simple. With each OCPD placement or relocation Volts automatically computes:

  • Phase load balance in the selected unit.
  • Unbalanced neutral current in 3-phase, 4-wire systems.

Many of the developing panel's characteristics can also be defined with the Circuit Layout module.

  Even the OCPD image can be changed to better represent those used in your project and Volts Panel Layout report.

  The Circuit Layout module works in conjunction with Volts' Circuit Load Analysis and all of Volts' reports.

It simply cannot be any easier or more accurate to obtain the correct information the first time.
