Device and Metal Box Fill
  The Device and Metal Box Fill Module verifies and sizes any device or metal box, inclusive of added extension rings and covers which are listed in the Device and Metal Box Database.


This Module utilizes NEC® Sections 314.16(B)(1) thru (5) and Table 314.16(B) and accesses an interactive Table 314.16(A).

This module performs calculations of both similar and dissimilar conductor sizes and new and justification of existing device boxes with a very simple and fast "drag and drop" graphical user interface.

After all the connectors have been placed and characterized along with the placement of the devices, press the Justify Box Size button. Volts will compute the required size based on the connector characterization and compare that to the accumulated volume of the selected box, extension ring and cover. The resulting volumes are displayed either with a Go / No-Go light indicator for justification or a list of compliant boxes from the integrated Device and Metal Box database.

The Device and Metal Box Fill module is integrated with the Device and Metal Box Database.


It simply cannot be any easier or more accurate to obtain the correct information the first time.
