Our Resistor Color Module features a very simple interface comprising two different methods which calculate the resistance value of a resistor from its colored band identification or computing the colored bands from a known resistor resistance value and tolerance.

Selecting the By Color button changes the calculator mode and display to calculating the resistance value from colored band identification. From the bottom list boxes, select the colors to match those of your resistor. The resistor illustration's colored bands will change corresponding to your color selections.

Selecting the By Value button changes the calculator mode and display to calculating the colored bands from an entered resistance value.
